Kamni Vijay is an accomplished senior executive with over twenty years of experience in the fields of Life Science research tools and Clinical Diagnostics. Her depth of expertise lies in the high-growth sectors of spatial biology, precision genomics, and diagnostics. 

She most recently served as VP/GM for Becton Dickinson’s Point of Care Diagnostics testing platform. Before Becton Dickinson, she served as VP/GM for Bio-Techne’s emerging spatial biology program and earlier as VP/GM for Agilent’s Genomics business. She also served in numerous product management roles at Bio-Rad Laboratories. Her career began at MJ Research, a leading privately held company in the field of PCR. Kamni has successfully fostered growth and profitability in both start-up and multinational organizations, to accelerate discovery and improve patient outcomes. 

Kamni earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from UC Davis, where she received uninterrupted extramural funding from the NIH, was co-enrolled in the Graduate School of Business, and served as an Insight Scholar for McKinsey & Company.
