Ravi’s experience across multiple geographies and industries has been focused on helping clients with successful global business transformation initiatives. Having held leadership roles with world-class enterprise software companies (SAP) and leading professional services firms (Deloitte and Ernst & Young), Ravi brings a blended perspective and a set of best practices to Cota Capital’s portfolio companies. Ravi’s current assignments include helping enterprises with their GTM (go-to-market) strategies, value-based selling, best practices with sales operations, and organizational design considerations. Most recently, as a Partner with Deloitte, Ravi led the Life Sciences/SAP practice for the firm, which included the sales and delivery of a number of successful global transformation initiatives for his clients. Prior to Deloitte, Ravi was a Vice President of Sales at SAP, after helping launch the Value Engineering function for the West Region, where he helped set up a consultative selling model. Ravi’s career includes significant global roles as a Partner with Ernst & Young, where he served as the national sector leader for the High Technology practice and was a member of the Americas Management Committee. Ravi has an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from The University of Madras.
He is a certified professional in manufacturing and inventory management with the American Productivity and Inventory Control Society (APICS). He has also been a speaker at leading international conferences and has taught certification courses at APICS.
