Arif Farooqui joined Cota Capital in 2020 and is Vice President, Finance. He brings a wealth of experience from the alternative investment space, with both audit and industry experience in venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, and cryptocurrency funds. Prior to Cota, Arif was a Finance Manager at the venture capital firm, Venrock. Prior to Venrock, Arif served as an Experienced Assurance Manager at BDO (San Francisco) in their Asset Management practice. Arif began his career at EY (Bahrain) where he served as a Manager in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services (AABS) practice with a focus on the financial services industry, and also provided consulting services in the specialized Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS) practice. Arif is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
