Jason Gates works with venture capital and private equity-backed companies on enterprise go-to-market strategy, sales execution, and the commercialization of complex technologies. He draws on his experience as a founder and operator at the intersection of physical AI and enterprise software.
Jason co-founded Compology and served as its CEO, developing an industrial IoT and applied AI platform serving the waste and recycling, logistics, and commercial real estate industries. He led the company through its acquisition in 2022. In 2024, Jason partnered with Balmoral Funds to acquire Xirgo Technologies, a connected vehicle solutions provider, through a corporate carve-out and continues to serve on its Board of Directors.
Jason received a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland.
