Adit Singh joined Cota in 2021 as a Partner on the investment team. He is a hands-on, early-stage company builder with deep operating experience, who has helped create many successful startups. Adit is extremely well connected in the deeply technical circles of silicon valley and has the reputation of building companies from the bottom up by working hand in hand with founders.

Prior to joining Cota Capital, Adit was a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Neotribe Ventures, an early-stage venture fund. Previously, Adit was a Partner at Foundation Capital. While in Foundation Capital’s Entrepreneur-In-Residence Program, Adit co-founded a networking appliance company, Bitsplay Systems, that streamed video from data centers. 

Prior to entering venture capital, Adit was an early employee at microinverter pioneer in climate technology, Enphase Energy, and Senior Director of Product Management after the company went public (NASDAQ: ENPH).Adit started his career as an engineer at Growth Networks, which Cisco acquired. At Cisco, Adit led the data center infrastructure team as a technical leader. He delivered several products–converged servers, switches, and edge routers–for the data center infrastructure at Cisco.

Adit is originally from Kolkata India. Adit has a love for cricket and fondly remembers playing cricket in the streets of Kolkata. Adit also volunteers at the German Shepherd Rescue Northern California (GSRNC), an organization focused on rescuing and fostering German Shepherds in the San Francisco Bay Area. Adit earned a B.S. and M.S. in ECE from UIUC and an MBA from Chicago Booth.
